Cpl. William (Brad) Fulks
USMC - 23 years old
On May 18 we honor and remember Cpl. William (Brad) Fulks USMC and his mother Kimberly Jean Jefferson Adams of Culloden WV. Cpl. Fulks was born May 3rd 1983.
He was assigned to the 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.; died May 18 2006, at Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, from wounds sustained May 1 while conducting combat operations in Anbar province, Iraq. He was 23.
Det #1474 Marine Corps League in Hurricane WV honored Cpl. Fulks by naming their detachment after him.

PFC Andrew M. Harper
US ARMY - 19 years old
On March 11 we honor and remember Pfc. Andrew M. Harper US Army, 19, of Maidsville, WV and his mother Deanna Jeanette Anderson Harper of Middleburg, Florida. He was born August 17, 1991.
Pfc Harper attend University High School where he played football, was a member of the track and wrestling teams. He graduated University High in 2009 at which time he joined United States Army. He was also a huge Pittsburgh Steelers and WVU Mountaineer fan.
He was assigned to 3rd Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment, Vilseck, Germany; died March 11, 2011, in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained in a noncombat incident.
