CWO4 Brent Cole
US ARMY - 38 years old
On May 22 we honor and remember CWO4 Brent Cole of, 38 of Reedsville WV and his mother Helen Cole of Lindon NC. He was born Aug 12 1970.
He joined the Army in 1987 as a military policeman and was selected in 1998 to the Army’s Warrant Officer Flight Program. He excelled as an Army aviator and began flying the AH-64 Apache helicopter.
He was killed in a helicopter crash during his third combat deployment while proudly serving his country in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He was deployed as part of the 1st Attack Helicopter Battalion (Wolf Pack) of the 82nd Airborne Division's Combat Aviation Brigade. died May 22, 2009 when his helicopter went down in Tarin Kwot, Afghanistan.
Some of CWO4 medals include, two Bronze Stars, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Medal for Valor, two Air Medals, the Army Commendation Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters.
He also is survived by wife Vanessa Commodore Cole, and his son Carson.

SSG Jesse A Ault
US ARMY - 28 years old
On April 9 we remember and honor SSG Jesse A Ault US Army 429th Brigade Support Battalion, Virginia Army National Guard. Beloved son of Virginia "Ginny" Billiter of Tyler County WV. He is survived by 3 children. Born February 18, 1980, died in Bagdad Iraq April 9th 2008. He was 28.
Staff Sgt. Jesse A. Ault re-enlisted in the National Guard and took his wife’s place when she was recalled to active duty so she could stay stateside and care for their children.
Let us never forget the sacrifices he and his family have made, and always....
