On June 18 we honor and remember LCpl Adam Johnson Crumpler, USMC and his mother Emma Lou Johnson of Charleston WV.

Lcpl Crumpler, 19, born August 31, 1985, was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 2nd Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C. and was killed June 18 2005 by small-arms fire while conducting combat operations against enemy forces during Operation Spear in Karabilah, Iraq
